The Virginia Smart Community Testbed brings together government, non-profit sponsors, education, and corporate sponsors to accelerate and strengthen smart community technology innovation across Virginia.
While the Testbed is housed in Stafford County, Virginia, anyone can participate and be a part of the Testbed, regardless of where they live.
The Testbed is a public-private partnership. With the help of our sponsors, we are creating a smart ecosystem in the Stafford region, the Commonwealth, and beyond.
Three level of sponsorships are available. Silver level sponsorships have the benefit of participating in Testbed pilot projects, demoing new products and services, and various advertisement opportunities. Gold level sponsorships share Silver level benefits and may also participate in workshops and other events, host online events from VSCT, and extended advertisement opportunities. Platinum level sponsorships share Silver and Gold benefits plus the ability to create and lead on pilot project per year, have first right to partner on grant partnerships, and extended advertisement opportunities.

Sponsorships are available for the Virginia Smart Community Testbed (VSCT). We are developing the next generation of innovative smart technology solutions, focusing on smart traffic; smart parking; public safety and emergency management, Drones, Smart Energy, Smart Health, 5G, and IoT security.
Largely funded by the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC), Stafford County and government grants, the testbed is a living laboratory in Stafford County, Virginia that conducts pilot projects and tests new smart technologies and generates practical, proven solutions that can be across Virginia. The VSCT is a public-private partnership. With the help of our sponsors and partners, we are creating a Stafford Smart Town Center as a highly-visible proof-of-concept with far-reaching implications.
